Diane Pelegris, MSW, LCSW

Hi!

My name is Diane, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and this is my practice. I’m also a mom, a superhero fan, and an avid DIY-er. If you feel like having a chat, keep reading to learn a little bit more about me and our team!

The Story.

After completing my Masters degree in Social Work at Loyola University Chicago in 2007, I began my counseling career. Wanting to utilize my knowledge and skills to the most of my ability, I decided to enter into private practice in 2014. I have practiced in a wide range of settings, working with an even wider range of clients, from children with specials needs, to successful business professionals. My varied experiences are exactly why I’m dedicated to building a team of diverse therapists and counselors with thoughtful, unique approaches.

As a practice, our driving goal is to equip clients with as much information and understanding of their brains and emotional health as possible. We are able to empower clients in a myriad of ways, ultimately helping them to better manage distress, and build emotional resiliency.

We tailor treatment to provide the most individualized plans to fit varied lifestyles. With each new client we see, we establish the fact that we are on this journey together and promise to be active members of the therapeutic relationship.

The Team.

Amanda Hensley, LCSW, ADHD-CCSP

A profound desire to help others in a deep and meaningful way is what has drawn Amanda to the mental health field. Amanda creates space for all of her clients to express whatever they need to in a nonjudgmental, supportive environment. Humor and solution-focused thinking are key aspects of Amanda’s approach to her practice, and life. Amanda’s guiding belief is that the client is the expert of their own life, and her role is to guide, assist and encourage on the path to healing and growth. Amanda believes helping clients develop self-compassion and confidence in their voice, and beyond, are the most rewarding aspects of her position.

Outside of therapy, you can expect Amanda to always be ready to talk about yoga, cats, and gardening.
